Congratulatory Wreaths for Conferences and Seminars: Start with the Venue Layout
What to confirm before the address: delivery times, hall name, on-site contact and pickup

A conference invitation usually gives the hotel name and nothing about where a wreath should go. That is usually why people get stuck at the address field on the order form.
Hotels and convention centers aren't like ordinary offices. With only the building address, a wreath may not make it all the way to the event entrance. A few checks before you order will take care of this.

Put the floor and hall name after the building address. Large convention centers often host several events on the same day, and without a hall name the driver has to stop and ask for directions on site.
Give the event's official name as well. Including the year or edition number keeps it from being confused with another event on the same floor.
Name the event secretariat's staff contact as the recipient. You need a Korean mobile number that someone will actually answer on the day of the event. The driver calls this number on arrival.
If you give the number of the professor or speaker who invited you, they may be presenting and unable to take the call. The secretariat's number is usually at the bottom of the invitation email or under the contact details on the conference website.
No. Some hotels restrict outside wreaths, and some accept them only at a designated loading dock rather than the lobby. Start by asking the event secretariat or the hotel's banquet department whether outside wreaths are allowed.
If they are, confirm the time and place too. You only need to know when setup of the venue will be finished, where the loading dock is, and whether a spot has been set aside for wreaths.
If the wreath arrives just before the opening, the area around the registration desk will be crowded and there may be nowhere to put it. Ask whether it can be brought in early that morning or the evening before. That makes scheduling easier.
Choose the wreath size at the same time. If the space is tight, choose a 3단 (three-tier) wreath. If there is more room, a 4단 or 5단 (four- or five-tier) wreath is an option.
| What to confirm | Who to ask | Where it goes on the order form |
|---|---|---|
| Whether outside wreaths are allowed | Event secretariat, hotel banquet department | Special requests |
| Delivery time and loading dock location | Event secretariat, hotel banquet department | Preferred delivery time, special requests |
| Floor, hall name and official event name | Invitation, event secretariat | Detailed address |
| A contact who can be reached on the day | Event secretariat | Recipient name and phone number |
| How the wreath will be removed after the event | Event secretariat | Special requests |
A conference usually lasts one or two days, and the hotel needs the hall cleared right after. If nobody has been assigned to remove the remaining wreaths, the job falls to the organizers.
So when you ask about delivery access, ask about pickup too. Write the agreed method and the event's end time in the special requests on the order form.
Keep the ribbon message short. The right ribbon reads 축 개최 ("Congratulations on the event") or 성공적인 개최를 기원합니다 ("Wishing you a successful event"). The left ribbon gives the sender's organization, title and name.
Arrive in Bloom hand-letters the ribbon messages for you, and once delivery is complete we send an unedited photo of the actual wreath. Even if you can't be there, the photo shows where the wreath was placed. Same-day delivery applies to orders placed by 5 p.m.
Once you have the floor, hall and contact number, you can go to the Arrive in Bloom congratulatory wreath page and look at the order screen.
It depends on the hotel. Some restrict outside wreaths, so it is safest to check with the event secretariat or the hotel's banquet department before you order.
Give the Korean mobile number of a secretariat staff member who can take calls on the day of the event. The driver calls this number on arrival.

Orders placed by 5 p.m. qualify for same-day delivery. Orders placed later are delivered after 10 a.m. the next day. Deliveries are made between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Enter the floor, hall, contact number and delivery time in the special requests. Once delivery is complete, we'll send you a photo of the actual wreath.
