If you received news of a death this afternoon, or just realized today is an anniversary, the first thing to check is not a list of florists but the clock. The Gangnam area — Yeoksam, Samseong, Nonhyeon, Cheongdam, Seocho — is covered by same-day delivery, but once you pass the cutoff, the order moves back a full day.
The deadline applies to completing payment, not filling out the order form. If payment is completed before 5 PM, the order is delivered the same day; orders paid after that are delivered the next day, after 10 AM.
Deliveries are made between 8 AM and 8 PM. If the recipient can only accept flowers during certain hours — after they finish work, or during hospital visiting hours — note that time window on the order form as well.
The most common mistake is spending so long deciding on the ribbon message that payment slips past 5 PM. If you are ordering after 4 PM, it is safer to write out the message and the recipient's details first, then simply copy them into the order form.
The same cutoff applies to orders sent to Gangnam from overseas, so count backward from 5 PM Korean time. Overseas orders are priced and billed in US dollars, and payment does not require a PayPal account.
In Gangnam, delays are usually caused inside the building, not by the distance. The driver reaches the address without trouble, but if they are stopped in the lobby or cannot find the recipient, that is where the time goes.

The recipient's contact number must be a Korean number. The driver calls the recipient after arriving to hand over the flowers, so even if you order from overseas, enter a Korean mobile number for the recipient.
If the flowers are a surprise the recipient shouldn't know about, one option is to list the number of a colleague on the same floor or the person at the front desk instead. The driver doesn't have to search around, and the surprise stays intact.
Once delivery is complete, you receive a photo of the actual flowers taken on site, with no staging or retouching. Even if you are not in Gangnam, you can see exactly how the flowers were handed over.
Ribbon messages are handwritten for you. For a 근조화환 (standing condolence wreath), double-check the sender's name and title before paying.
