It is past 4 p.m. and the wreath has to arrive today. Every search result says "same-day delivery available," and you cannot tell whether that is actually true for your order.
The short answer is that same-day flower delivery is not a service that always works instantly. The same order can succeed or fail depending on the location, the partner atelier's stock, the order cutoff time, and how accurate the recipient details are.
The conditions for success are simple. The destination is in a city area served by a partner atelier, the item is a standardized product such as a three-tier 근조화환 (standing condolence wreath), and the funeral hall name and room number are correct. When all three hold, the job is mostly travel rather than production, and it usually arrives within 3 hours.
The difficult cases are the opposite. A bouquet that specifies several stems of a particular color requires the atelier to have that flower in stock. Wholesale flower markets close in the afternoon, so if it is not on hand there is no way to get it. For islands and rural county areas, travel alone can take more than two hours even from the nearest atelier.
Events with a fixed start time, such as weddings and grand openings, also need care. Some venues set a separate window for bringing in wreaths. Even if the delivery is fast, a wreath that is not allowed in has not arrived.

Many customers ask to leave out the recipient's number because the flowers are a surprise. But if the driver arrives and has no number to call, the delivery stops there. A company lobby, a hospital ward, or a funeral hall reception room is not a place where a driver can leave flowers unattended.
There is one more reason. The written address and the actual location often differ. A hospital may have a main building and an annex, or a funeral hall room may change on the day. If the driver can call to confirm, it is sorted in minutes. If not, time is lost while we contact the sender.
The number must be a Korean number. Even when ordering from abroad, you need to enter the recipient's Korean mobile number so the driver can call on arrival. If it is a surprise, you can note in the order requests that the driver should only say "flower delivery" on the call.
When it is urgent, the instinct is to hit the order button first. But what eats the most time in same-day delivery is not production or travel. It is fixing wrong information. One wrong room number or one wrong character in the deceased's name means an hour lost confirming the details and rewriting the ribbon.
Only three things need checking before you order: the official name of the venue with the room or floor, the recipient's Korean phone number, and the sender's exact name and title for the ribbon. If those three are right, an order placed 10 minutes before the cutoff goes out without a problem.
When the delivery is complete, you receive a photo of the actual arrangement, with no staging or retouching. Use that photo to confirm it was placed correctly.
