Pangyo Flower Delivery: Getting Flowers to the Office Lobby

Pangyo office deliveries stop at the security gate — decide how the flowers will be received before you order

Pangyo Flower Delivery: Getting Flowers to the Office Lobby

Most office buildings in Pangyo Techno Valley control entry with speed gates. Delivery drivers have no employee badge and cannot go up to the office floor, so flowers usually stop at the first-floor lobby.

That means the real decision when sending flowers to Pangyo is not which flowers to choose, but how far they can be delivered. Settling this one point at the ordering stage prevents most failed deliveries.

Lobby desk pickup vs. direct hand-off: what is the difference?

With lobby desk pickup, the driver arrives, calls the recipient, and then leaves the flowers with the reception desk. The delivery is complete even if the recipient is in a meeting; they can come down and collect the flowers later.

With a direct hand-off, the recipient comes down to the lobby and receives the flowers from the driver in person. They need to be able to take a call and step away at the time of arrival, which can be a burden on a packed day.

Either way, Arrive in Bloom sends you a photo of the actual arrangement after delivery, with no staging or retouching. Even when the flowers are left at the lobby desk, you can see the condition they arrived in.

For buildings with strict security like Pangyo's, lobby desk pickup is the sensible default. Choose a direct hand-off only for occasions when handing the flowers over in person matters, and confirm the recipient's schedule beforehand.

What information should I provide when ordering?

Many Pangyo addresses cover complexes with several buildings. If you write only the company name, the driver loses time finding the right building. Include the building, floor, and company name in the order notes.

The recipient's phone number must be a Korean number. When the driver arrives, they call that number to arrange the hand-over.

Same-day delivery applies to orders paid before 5:00 PM. Orders placed after that are delivered the next day, starting from 10:00 AM, and deliveries run from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

If you are ordering from abroad for a colleague or family member in Pangyo, you can pay through PayPal at prices shown in USD. No PayPal account is needed, and bouquets start at USD 38. The recipient's number still needs to be a Korean number.

What should I send if the office cannot take a large wreath?

A three-tier standing wreath is taller than an adult. Even for an opening or an office relocation, a shared office or a small lobby may have nowhere to put one, and building management sometimes refuses to let it in.

In that case, a flower basket or a potted orchid that fits on a desk is the practical alternative. Your congratulatory message is handwritten on the ribbon for you, so it carries the same formality as a wreath.

If the occasion truly calls for a wreath, it is safer to ask the receiving company or the building management first whether one can be brought in. A three-tier 근조화환 (standing condolence wreath) costs 59,000 won including nationwide delivery.

More than 500 partner ateliers handle production and delivery everywhere in Korea, including Pangyo, so you can place an order 24 hours a day — early morning or weekend.
