Wedding Wreath Prices and What Wedding Halls Will Accept

Look up prices for a wedding 축하화환 (standing congratulatory wreath) and you will quickly find what 3-, 4- and 5-tier versions cost. What you won't find anywhere is whether that wreath will be allowed into the wedding hall you are sending it to.
Problems usually come from the venue's delivery rules, not the price. Before you order, decide three things: the number of tiers, the venue's rules, and the ribbon and arrival time.
The tier count (단, dan) is the number of levels the flowers are arranged on. Each extra tier makes the wreath taller and adds more flowers, so it is easier to see from a distance. It also needs more floor space.
For a personal congratulation, 3 tiers is a safe choice. People choose 4 or 5 tiers when sending on behalf of a company or group, or when they are close to the couple. It usually makes more sense to match the price to the size of the event than to how close you are.

One thing is easy to miss. Wedding halls with narrow lobbies sometimes can't keep large wreaths at the entrance and move them further inside. If several people from the same group plan to send wreaths, pooling together for one takes up less space than sending them separately.
Every wedding hall has its own rules for wreaths. Some don't accept outside wreaths and only allow their own. Others limit how many can come in. Sometimes this only comes out after the driver has arrived.
Check three things in advance.
If you can't easily ask the hall yourself, ask the 혼주 (the parents hosting the wedding) or a close family member of the couple. Get the name of the wedding hall and the name of the specific hall inside it, so you can enter the delivery address correctly when you order.
A wreath that isn't allowed in gets sent back from the entrance or pushed into a corner, and the sender often never hears about it. After delivery, Arrive in Bloom sends you an unstaged photo of the actual wreath so you can see it was placed where it belongs.
One ribbon carries the congratulatory message and the other carries the sender's name. Short messages such as '축 결혼' or '축 화혼' (both mean "congratulations on your wedding") are easier to read from a distance. Arrive in Bloom writes the ribbon text by hand for you.
Use a name the couple will recognize at a glance. For a company, give the company name and your job title. For a group, give the group's name. Note in the order memo whether you are on the groom's side or the bride's side, so there is no confusion when the wreaths are arranged.
Arriving two to three hours before the ceremony is a safe choice. If it arrives too early, setup may not have opened yet and the wreath can be refused. If it arrives too late, it gets in the way of arriving guests. For an 11 a.m. ceremony, aim for between 8 and 9 a.m.
