Autumn Wedding Season: Sending a Wreath When Weekend Wedding Halls Are Busy

What to check for weekend weddings in October and November, when lobby space and delivery vehicles run short
You go to send a 축하화환 (standing congratulatory flower wreath) to a Saturday midday wedding and find that the same building has one ceremony booked after another. Your first worry is whether the wreath will reach the right place.
In October and November, weddings bunch up on weekends. Lobby space for standing wreaths and delivery vehicles both run short at the same time. Placing the order is only part of it. You also need to make sure of where and when the wreath arrives.

If you give only the venue address, the driver can find the building entrance and nothing more. Once inside the lobby, the driver works out which wedding a wreath belongs to from just the hall name and the ceremony time.
In the request field, put the hall name, the time and both names on one line, for example 'Grand Hall, 1 PM, groom ○○○ · bride ○○○'. Copy the hall name exactly as it appears on the wedding invitation. That makes it easy to match against the signs at the venue.
If the building's halls are spread over several floors, add the floor as well. Where some halls have similar names, this one line keeps the wreath from being set up outside the wrong hall.
The recipient's contact number must be a Korean number, because the driver calls it on arrival. If you can get the number of the 혼주 (the couple's parents, who host the wedding) or of the venue coordinator, the driver can find the right spot faster.
Arrive in Bloom's same-day delivery cutoff is 5 PM. Orders received after 5 PM are delivered after 10 AM the next day.
The problem is weddings that start at 11 AM or noon. If you order after 5 PM on Friday, the wreath goes out after 10 AM on Saturday. It may arrive just before the ceremony, or after the lobby spaces are already full.
If you order before the cutoff the day before, our atelier can set the delivery order in advance and start moving at 8 AM, when deliveries begin. On weekends, ordering the day before takes away some of the worry, even for an afternoon wedding.
| When you order | When delivery starts | Weddings it works for |
|---|---|---|
| Day before, before 5 PM | From 8 AM on the wedding day | Most weddings, including morning and lunchtime ceremonies |
| Day before, after 5 PM | After 10 AM on the wedding day | Weddings that start late in the afternoon |
| Morning of the wedding | In the order received; may run late on weekends | Evening weddings |
For a Sunday wedding, order by 5 PM on Saturday. Deliveries run until 8 PM, but lobby spaces usually go to the wreaths that arrive first.
Some wedding halls don't accept outside wreaths because the lobby is small or because of their own rules. Rules can also differ from hall to hall within the same venue, so call the venue and check before you order.
If regular wreaths aren't allowed, ask whether a 쌀화환 (rice wreath) is. The rice is donated after the wedding, and some venues accept these even when they don't take regular wreaths.
If rice wreaths aren't allowed either, send a flower basket. A basket isn't set up in the lobby. It is a gift handed directly to the 신부대기실 (bride's waiting room) or to the couple's parents, so lobby space doesn't matter.
We write the ribbon message by hand for you. Once delivery is complete, we send you an unretouched photo of the actual flowers. Even if you can't attend, the photo shows you that the wreath arrived where it should.
Once you have the hall name and ceremony time ready, see the congratulatory wreath and flower basket pages at Arrive in Bloom.
To be safe, order before 5 PM on Friday. Orders received after 5 PM are delivered after 10 AM the next day.
In the request field, put the hall name, the floor, the ceremony time and the groom's and bride's names on one line. Copy the hall name exactly as it appears on the wedding invitation.
First, ask the venue whether it accepts 쌀화환 (rice wreaths). If rice wreaths aren't allowed either, switch to a flower basket, which is handed directly to the bride's waiting room or to 혼주 (the couple's parents, who host the wedding).
Once delivery is complete, we send you an unretouched photo of the actual flowers. For any other questions, call our main line at 1666-6584.
Orders placed before 5 PM are delivered the same day. See wreaths and flower baskets for your wedding date at Arrive in Bloom.
