Free Mobile Wedding Invitations & Notices for Korea, in English
A white bouquet from our studio — the kind of arrangement guests send to a Korean wedding hall

If you live in Korea, or you love someone who does, you have probably received one already: a link in KakaoTalk that opens into a small, tidy page — a wedding invitation with photos and a map, a funeral notice with the hall address, a note from a new café saying it opens on Saturday. In Korea these mobile pages have largely replaced printed cards. They are quick to send, easy to read on a phone, and they carry the one thing paper never could: a button that opens the map.

The trouble is making one. Most free makers are in Korean only, carry advertising, or put the nicer designs behind a paywall. So we built four free pages in English, the same way we built our free funeral notice. No ads, no sign-up. You fill in a few fields and get a link.

What can you make for free?

PageBest forWhat it includesKept for
Wedding invitationWeddings in KoreaUp to 6 photos, calendar and D-day, Naver Map · Kakao Map · TMAP, gift account copy button, parents and contacts30 days after the wedding

Every page is written in English for the people you send it to, and the same link can be switched to Korean with one tap — useful when half of the guests are Korean relatives.

How does a mobile wedding invitation work in Korea?

A Korean mobile invitation, moba-il cheongcheopjang, usually does five jobs: it names the couple and their parents, gives the date and the hall, shows the way there, offers a few photos, and — this surprises many foreigners — lists a bank account for the wedding gift. Guests who cannot come often send their gift by transfer, and the invitation is where they find the account.

Our English invitation keeps all five. You can mark a late parent with "the late", choose a greeting or write your own, and add up to six photos. Guests see the hall on Naver Map, Kakao Map or TMAP — the maps people in Korea actually use — and can copy the account number with a single tap.

What do you send after a Korean funeral?

After the funeral, Korean families traditionally thank everyone who came to pay respects or sent a wreath. Calling each person is rarely possible in the days that follow, so a short written thank-you has become common.

The thank-you note offers eight pieces of wording, short and long, for general, Christian, Catholic and Buddhist families, and adjusts the phrasing accordingly — passed away, called home, returned to God. If you made a funeral notice with us first, the thank-you note can pick up the name and family details from it, so there is nothing to type twice.

How do you announce a shop opening in Korea?

When a café, clinic or office opens or moves, the news in Korea travels through group chats. The opening announcement is made for exactly that: the business name, the opening date and time, the address with map buttons, a call button and your opening hours. As the day approaches, it shows how many days are left.

It also answers the question friends will have next — where to send flowers. Opening a shop in Korea is an occasion for congratulatory wreaths and potted plants, and from the announcement guests can order one with your address, business name and the ribbon greeting 祝 開業 (congratulations on your opening) already filled in.

Can a flower card turn into real flowers?

Yes. The flower card lets you choose one of seven occasions and then a flower — every photo is a bouquet or basket we actually make. You write a name and a message, and the person receiving it opens a small pink cover to find the flowers and your words.

If they — or you — decide the card is not quite enough, the same flowers can be ordered for delivery anywhere in Korea, priced in US dollars and paid by PayPal.

A few things to know first

Only telling the good parts would be half an introduction, so here is the rest.

If you want to send flowers too

All four pages are free to make and to share, and flowers are entirely optional. If you do order, delivery cost is included anywhere in Korea, same-day delivery is available for orders before 5 PM Korea time, funeral halls can usually be reached in about three hours, ribbons and cards are hand-lettered for free, and we send a photo of the actual arrangement once it is delivered. Congratulatory and funeral standing wreaths start at $54.

Frequently asked questions

Are these pages really free?

Yes. Making, editing and sharing the wedding invitation, thank-you note, opening announcement and flower card are all free, with no advertising and no sign-up.

Can my Korean guests read an English invitation?

Every page can be switched between English and Korean. Add &lang=ko to the link, or tap 한국어 at the top of the page.

How long do the pages stay online?

Wedding invitations are deleted 30 days after the wedding, opening announcements 60 days after the opening date, and thank-you notes and flower cards 90 days after they are made.

Can I edit after sending?

Yes, with the private edit link shown when you finish. Keep it somewhere safe — it cannot be shown again.

Do I have to order flowers?

No. Flowers are optional. If guests want to send some, the wedding and opening pages fill the delivery address and ribbon greeting into the order form for them.

Each dawn we choose the day's flowers at the wholesale market and watch them leave for every corner of Korea. We write about the names and seasons of flowers, and the hearts they reach. — Arrive in Bloom
