Sunshine gold running down every leaf, held in a hand-carved celadon pot — the version sent when the occasion is formal.

Taeyanggeum reads as sunshine gold: a bright golden band follows the length of each deep green leaf, so the plant carries colour without needing a flower. The source offers it as a symbol of a rising career — steady growth, and prosperity ahead.

It is meant for the rooms where a gift is on show — a chief executive's office, a director's room, a reception table — and it holds that brightness through the year.

Gold on every blade

Taeyanggeum reads as sunshine gold: a bright golden band follows the length of each deep green leaf, so the plant carries colour without needing a flower. The source offers it as a symbol of a rising career — steady growth, and prosperity ahead.

It is meant for the rooms where a gift is on show — a chief executive's office, a director's room, a reception table — and it holds that brightness through the year.

The pot is what makes it a gift

This is the carved-pot version. The celadon vessel is pierced by hand in a diamond lattice, with a moulded collar and a scrolled foot — beside a plain nursery pot the difference is the whole point, and it is what the source says decides how the gesture is read.

Plants are selected for leaf condition and form before they are potted, and a ribbon and message card are made up to go with them.
