The Jewel ZZ plant gets its Korean name from its leaves, which are said to resemble coins — and, by tradition, to draw in wealth.
Compared with an ordinary ZZ plant, the stems have shorter joints and the leaves sit much closer together, which is why it is said to hold on to that wealth.
