Not wilted — that is just how these flowers are

Stock carries its buds tightly packed, so they crease easily and the thin, rounded petals curl backwards. It is the flower's character, not a sign of age.

Lisianthus has papery, ruffled petals, so the buds can look a little crumpled. That is their natural shape and part of what makes them so delicate.

Roses often arrive with their outer 'guard' petals left on — slightly uneven in colour and curled at the edge. Those petals protect the bloom and help it open slowly and last longer, so our florists usually leave them in place.
